In a course in form and design I was to design a laptop stand to fit a certain persona and moodboard and fulfill the following statement: “A minimalistic and robust furniture piece with functions and ergonomic features to turn your laptop into a full desktop setup when working from home.“
This resulted in a stationary wooden laptop stand designed to raise your laptop close to eye’s height. It is designed to be used with an external wireless keyboard and mouse. The concept has two built in speakers removing the need for external speakers and thus also removing clutter and cables from the desk. A tilt function allows the laptop to be tilted towards the user when placed on the stand.
